About the Author

Deb is a special education teacher living in the Nashville, TN area.  She has worked with students with disabilities in home settings, as a paraprofessional, and as a teacher.  She has taught in elementary and middle school settings and has taught in both inclusion and self-contained special education settings.  Deb believes that all students can learn, and always focuses on a student's abilities rather than disabilities.

Originally from New England, Deb settled in Tennessee in her early 20s and now lives there happily with her husband and dog, Rompu.  In her spare time when she is not teaching or creating teaching resources, she loves to sing, attend church, and travel the world.  Her biggest goals for travel are to visit all 50 states and as many continents as possible.
